Dr. Dan Bouchelle is President of Missions Resource Network. Prior to his current ministry Dan was the senior minister for the Central Church of Christ, Amarillo, Texas, pulpit minister for the Alameda Church of Christ, Norman, Oklahoma from 1994 to 2001 and ministered with the Northwest Church of Christ, Abilene, Texas, from 1988 to 1994. Dan earned his Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts degrees from Abilene Christian University. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Dan serves as a member of Christian Relief Fund’s Board of Trustees. Les Ferguson Jr

Les Ferguson, Jr. has been preaching since he was fifteen. He holds a B.A. in Bible from Magnolia Bible College and an M.A. in New Testament Preaching from Johnson University. His college years were separated by a six-year stint in the U.S. Navy where he worked in electronics and missile fire control systems. A portion of his service time was spent in the Persian Gulf during the US operations known as Desert Shield, the precursor to Desert Storm. After his military service, he spent three years as a youth minister in Vicksburg, MS, three years as a preaching minister in Laurel, MS, and fourteen years as the senior minister and an elder in Gulfport, MS. He was heavily involved in Honduras mission work with Torch Missions. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he served as a point of contact and directed recovery work on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After suffering a tragedy in the loss of his wife and handicapped son, Les stepped down from a full time preaching ministry. He has since married his childhood sweetheart, Becki. Together they are raising four boys, Conner (17), Michael (16), Max (13), and Casey (8). His oldest son, Kyle (28) is married and lives in Huntsville, AL. Les began working with the Lake Harbor Drive Church of Christ in Ridgeland, Mississippi as their Senior Minister in April 2014. I am an elder, a Sunday school teacher, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a lawyer. I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, home of the Alabama Crimson Tide. I’m a member of the University Church of Christ. I grew up in Russellville, Alabama and graduated from David Lipscomb College (now Lipscomb University). I received my law degree from the University of Alabama. I met my wife Denise at Lipscomb, and we have four sons, two of whom are married, and I have a grandson and granddaughter.

John Mark Hicks has taught in institutions affiliated with Churches of Christ for thirty-two years. He currently lives in Nashville, TN and is Professor of Theology at Lipscomb University. John Mark was born in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. His father (Mark N. Hicks) and mother (Edith Lois Hicks) were Texans who moved in the 1950s to Virginia to plant a church (though they were back in New Mexico in 1957 for a few years where John Mark was born). John Mark grew up in Virginia, spending his teen years in the Washington, D.C. area. He received his A.A. in German and his B.A. in Bible from Freed-Hardeman University (1977), his M.A.R. in Theological Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary (1979), his M.A. in Humanities (Philosophy) from Western Kentucky University (1980) and his Ph.D. in Reformation and Post-Reformation Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary (1985). He has taught at Alabama Christian School of Religion (1982-1989), Magnolia Bible College (1989-1991), Harding University Graduate School of Religion (1991-2000 fulltime; 2000-present adjunct), and Lipscomb University (2000-present). Patrick Mead is the lead minister for the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ in Franklin, Tennessee. A scientist by education – he holds doctorates in psychology and psychoneuroimmunology – he comes to faith by a different path and looks at scripture with a different lens than that used by most ministers. Remaining active in his field, he works with various police agencies as well as federal and international law enforcement agencies as a trainer in ethics, leadership, and avoiding burnout or PTSD. He helps several churches a year restructure their leadership, vision, and programs to better match the world in which they find themselves. Bobby Valentine grew up in north Alabama with a wonderful loving family of Yankees in the South but still says “Roll Tide.” His greatest privilege in life is being dad to two amazing daughters. He is a lover of great music from the Beatles to Metallica to U2. Some of his passions include hanging with friends in coffee shops talking about movies, books, theology, history, Big Bang Theory and Harley’s. Over the years he has been blessed to work with God’s family in remarkably diverse places like New Orleans, Grenada, MS, Milwaukee and Tucson. He is a frequent speaker on various lectureships and does congregational seminars on “Loving the Divorced,” “Sexuality and Spirituality,” and “The Spiritual Psalms” among others. Bobby has attended the University of North Alabama, Heritage Christian University, and Harding School of Theology among others. He has teamed up with John Mark Hicks on several book projects: Kingdom Come, Embracing the Spiritual Legacy of David Lipscomb and James Harding; A Gathered People: Revisioning the Assembly as Divine Encounter (with Johnny Melton); and to be released in 2016, Loving Creation: Embracing God’s Forgotten Mission.
